Cute Collabo: Christian Siriano for Payless

Note: This Collection is NOT a hot tranny mess!

Okay now that we got that out of the way I LOVE this shoe collection! Christian Siriano for Payless is beyond a Cute Collabo and is one of the biggest things that has happened with shoes in a while and definitely the biggest thing that has happened to a Project Runway winner. The shoes ( as well at two purses) are categorized as ready to wear, but scream runway as they should because they did debut at NYC’s fashion week. The Fall 09 collection ( yeah you have to wait until September 2009 to buy) is inspired by the Egyptian landscape with of course mean rich colors, and pyramid details. There are five styles of shoes to choose from the Slither, Saunter, SheDevil, Sand Strap, and Strut, and of course I have favorties .... the SheDevil and Sand Strap (pictured). There are also two handbags the Shanbag tote, and the Sassafras Clutch to add a little runway to an everyday outfit. So starting September 2009 the Christian Siriano collection will be available in stores at Payless Shoes or online at http://www.payless.com/. Until enjoy this video…..

Remember in the summer how I mentioned that American Apparel was going to start “doing” shoes well there hereeeeeeeee! I’m not that enthused about the current selection ( 3 so far), but if AA plans to do shoes like they do leggings, and comfy t shirts I’m sure some great selections are coming our way!

Style File Find of the Week: Fairy Tales Are True Feather Skimmer

Ahhh, back to school/pre-fall/fall clothes are trickling in stores, and I can’t be anymore excited seeing that this is my favorite season as far as fashion goes. There is something about a really nice pair of jeans/pants, a great sweater/long sleeved top, the perfect jacket, knit beret ( as necessary), and awesome boots that sits right with me. The Fairy Tales Are True Feather Skimmer somehow snuck its way onto my pre-fall/fall wish list. The skimmers are made of a fall fabric staple satin and are accessorized with one of my current favorite pieces of flair feathers, the only thing I’m worried about is the possibility of my feet getting cold so tights are going to be a must. The skimmers are from one of my favorite stores Urban Outfitters and are priced at a fairly reasonable $38.00 and come in 4 colors, now the only thing left for me to decide is blue of black?
